SASSA Takes Solutions to Fernie Neighborhood

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services to the community.

SASSA will probably be rendering expert services for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency mentioned it's alarmed about the significant quantity of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The aim with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some significant quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no thoroughly functional office devoted to service the area every day. The provider place established for intervention ordeals a high influx of possible beneficiaries, which makes it difficult for the Workplace to attend to all people who visit a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more methods to allow the servicing of all customers and maximize use of Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
